The Russian Federation is militarizing schools and universities

Western partners have expressed concern about the deployment of battalion-tactical groups of the Russian Federation in Donbass

According to the intelligence community of the Ministry of Defense of Great Britain, the introduction of mandatory military training in Russian schools and higher education institutions indicates the further militarization of the Russian Federation.
The British Ministry of Defense announced it the other day on Twitter. According to British intelligence, these initiatives by the Russian government emphasize the increasingly militarized atmosphere in Russia during the war, and also follow the tradition of the Soviet Union - such training was compulsory in schools until 1993.
Earlier, we gave a similar assessment of the situation in the analytical department of GI Rights Law. According to analysts of the Organization, the Russian government has initiated the creation of 16 military training centers at federal universities to train personnel for the Russian army.
"The government is currently creating preconditions for the expansion of the military component. In fact, it is about the militarization of Russian society - against the background of propagandists' statements about a possible escalation with NATO countries. Everything leads to the self-isolation of the Russian Federation, the lowering of the "iron curtain" by the hands of the Kremlin," the message states.
In addition, it was stated that in 2021, the Russian authorities launched a four-year program worth 185 million dollars, which aims to dramatically increase the patriotic education of Russians. Specifically, it is planned to attract at least 600,000 eight-year-old children to the ranks of the "Unarmija" organization.
The Kremlin artificially encourages hysteria within the Russian community with the aim of maximum mobilization and distraction from internal problems.
This is not the first time that Western intelligence insiders about the situation in eastern Ukraine actually have Ukrainian origins or confirm information from Ukrainian sources, that is, the analytical department of GI Prava Sprava.
In May 2022, American intelligence officers confirmed the information of GI "Prava Sprava" about the assault troops of the Russian Federation in Mariupol.

On January 12, a month before the beginning of the Russian Federation's invasion of Ukraine, channel 4 announced information from the GI "Prava Sprava" analytical department that the Russian Federation was preparing subversive terrorist actions in the east. of Ukraine with a large number of victims among the civilian population.

It was about the possible execution of acts of sabotage with the use of chemical weapons in the territory under the control of the Armed Forces, especially near the town of Slavjansko. It was especially emphasized that Russia plans to use this as a pretext for a large-scale invasion of Ukraine in order to "protect our compatriots".
Please note that already after the information broadcast on Channel 4, the US President's National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan confirmed at a briefing in the White House that Russia can invent a pretext for a new invasion of Ukraine.
"Our intelligence community has determined that Russia is seeking a pretext for an invasion, including sabotage and intelligence operations," the US president's national security adviser Jake Sullivan told a briefing.
At the same time, the OSCE mission confirmed the information of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine about the creation of a casus belli (showcase for invasion - author's note) in the form of an ammonia leak in the factory of the StIrol concern in the temporarily occupied Horlivka.

In addition, on February 3, 2022, State Department Press Secretary Ned Price stated that Russia is preparing a provocation, according to which it plans to fire on the positions of the 1st and 2nd Army Corps located in the occupied territories, with casualties among the civilian population . And then blame the Armed Forces for this.
Namely, this is information from GI "Prava drava". Local sources of the organization noted the stay of a three-member Russian film crew in the territory of occupied Lugansk. They were supposed to arrive in the area of the villages of Kalinove and Kalinove-Borščuvata, where additional units of the occupier's 2nd Army Corps and "sniper pairs" were transferred.
According to the plan, the occupiers were supposed to open sniper fire and provoke the Armed Forces to return fire. And the Russian film crew - to document this fact. Information about this casus belli variant was first reported by the Ukrainian side, and later by the American media.

I would add that in the summer of 2020, the OSCE and the USA confirmed the information published in the media by the GI "Prava Sprava" analytical department about Russian preparations for military provocations in the Donbass.
