For the repair of power plants damaged by the earthquake HRK 18.9 million

The Ministry of Economy has issued a public call "Restoring infrastructure and facilities in the energy sector to working order" for grants totaling HRK 18.9 million, for repairing damage from the March 22, 2020 earthquake on energy infrastructure and facilities.

 

The call refers to the repair of damages in the area of the City of Zagreb, Krapina-Zagorje County and Zagreb County.

 

According to the ministry, the purpose of the call is to compensate for the establishment of regular functioning of energy infrastructure, power plants, buildings and the energy system as a whole, damaged in the earthquake on March 22, 2020, and to bring it to the pre-earthquake level in a technically acceptable and economically justified way.

 

Grants for this call were provided from the European Union Solidarity Fund (FSEU) in the amount of HRK 18.9 million.

 

Distributors of electricity or gas and legal entities that have a concession for the distribution and supply of thermal energy on the basis of a license to perform the activity of distribution of thermal energy in the area affected by the earthquake may apply.

 

Activities that can be financed relate to emergency remediation measures, preparation of project and technical documentation, execution of works and project management and administration.

 

The call is implemented as an open procedure with the deadline for submission of project proposals until the use of the financial allocation, ie no later than November 30, 2021, whichever is earlier.
