WBF spearheading the harmonisation of legal status about philanthropy

From Skopje and seven other municipalities in North Macedonia, to Belgrade, Tuzla, and Bijeljina, a new initiative is underway, highlighting philanthropy as a key driver of sustainable local development.

Led by Association Konekt, the initiative advocates for a more favorable legislative and fiscal framework that promotes self-reliance and strengthens the legal environment for philanthropy.

The project aims to identify the most effective existing philanthropy models and support their large-scale replication across the participating Contracting Parties.

This project is co-funded by the European Union, IPA III – Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance.
