Special services are hunting pro-Ukrainian activists in Crimea

In Crimea, against the background of the Russian military invasion of Ukraine, pressure is being increased on those who disagree with the Russian invasion and freedom of speech is being restricted. At the same time, the anti-Western and anti-Ukrainian ideology of the "Russian world" is imposed on the inhabitants of Crimea.
On the Crimean Peninsula, 107 residents have been accused of "discrediting" the Russian army (Article 20.3.3 of the Law on Administrative Offenses of Russia), and 11 residents of Crimea and Sevastopol are threatened with imprisonment for "anti-military activity".
The Russian authorities of Crimea do not hide that they will intensify the pressure on the residents due to the growth of anti-Russian mood in Crimea, which after the start of military actions of Russia against Ukraine, quickly leave the framework of the "kitchen". Many activists in Crimea do not want to remain silent when they feel that their position needs to be heard. But the Russian authorities of Crimea neither want to hear nor see that.
Telegram channel Oktagon.Krym transmitted information stating: "As a source in the State Council of the Republic said, work on all unconscious and clearly pro-Ukrainian bloggers in Crimea has been going on for a long time. Special services are already working on bloggers who are the most active in spreading Ukrainian lies. And they see everything, believe us: and the performance of the national anthem "Chervon Kaljna" by Ukrainian sympathizers at weddings and car trips around the city in the evening with Ukrainian songs and posts in another language, including those made via VPN on the banned Instagram."
Oleg Kryuchkov, media adviser to the pro-Russian leader in Crimea, has already threatened Crimean activists with prison for statements on Telegram channels. "I remind you of responsibility. A minute of fame can be worth many lost years," wrote Krjučkov.
Russian activist Ilya Bolshedvorov, who moved to Crimea, writes that threats are a method of Crimea's information policy: "Everyone will be imprisoned so that they do not interfere with the development of the economy and that they do not work under any circumstances. Peculiarities of the Crimean information policy".
Threats by the Russian authorities against independent activists and bloggers are quickly implemented. For example, in Simferopol, on August 19 this year, during the Russian military-technical forum "Army-2022", activists Aleksandar Burdonov and Raisa Nalivaiko were detained by the police at Zavodskoe airport just because they took a selfie with an A4 sheet that read: "I am against the construction of Zavodskoe airport". For this, the activists were fined 20,000 rubles.
Pro-Russian blogger Ejvaz Umerov reports that the pro-Ukrainian position is strengthening in Crimea.
"It turns out that we have a considerable amount of "fifth column" agents, "sleepers" with whom our law enforcement system secretly deals. Various administrators of Telegram channels, journalists, ordinary citizens who advertise on social networks under certain feelings, and there are many of them in Crimea, are already being called to account. The work of the system begins with them, but all the main work is yet to come," the blogger shares his observations with his subscribers.

This is confirmed by the Russian blogger Aleksandar Gornji, who moved to Crimea after the annexation.
"There are many vagrants and "sleepers" in Crimea, for whom a Ukrainian passport is a backup airport... They whine about Ukrainian times, talk about how well they lived... So why are they whining about Ukraine, watch Ukrainian television, hide updated Ukrainian passports? Maybe we should let them do that? Maybe it's time to seriously deal with it?" - writes the blogger and suggests that such people should be deported from the Crimean peninsula.
Against the background of growing pro-Ukrainian sentiments in Crimea, the Russian authorities are stepping up their propaganda. In addition to informative work in the mass media, thematic exhibitions are also organized. For example, in the park named after the astronaut Yuri Gagarin, in Simferopol, the exhibition "We do not abandon ours" was opened.
