Putin hates Russians - as evidenced by the latest data on Russian losses in Ukraine

Military expert Oleksiy Kopitko analyzes the latest data on Russian losses in the war in Ukraine. These figures show a clear disparity in losses between regions and lead to an (un)expected conclusion: Moscow and St. Petersburg are fighting the rest of Russia, and Putin is fighting his own people.
The "Informative Resistance" group continues to collect the names of Russian soldiers who have been found to have been killed or buried in Russia itself. As of July 29, 2024, the names of a total of 63,581 people are in this database, and more than 430 are definitely dead, but there are disagreements about affiliation.
In just seven days, the number of people killed increased by 941. However, a warning should be kept in mind. Of this total number, about 700 people are new losses, while about 200 are old losses from the two examined cemeteries - in the Perm and Khabarovsk regions.
Updating data from one (!) cemetery in Khabarovsk led to an increase in the list of minimum confirmed losses from this region by 42 percent at once. This shows how secret Russian losses are still. Conservative estimates suggest that at least twice as many were killed.
"Mediazona" and the BBC have not updated the data for now, as of 07/19/2024. in 2008, their data spoke of 59,725 killed.

We emphasize that these are clearly incomplete numbers, but they reflect trends and become clear if the population is compared. According to Rosstat, as of January 1, 2024, the number of men of working age was:

in Tatarstan — 1,160,000;

That is, the comparative number of losses in two months in Belgorod is 14 times (!) higher than in Chechnya. This region is especially in focus, because nominally Chechen mega special forces "Ahmat" are present in the Belgorod region. Even the losses of "Ahmat" were recorded in the last two months in the Kharkiv region. But there are all Slavs and non-Chechens.
It turns out that Kadyrov is making money from the war, his commanders are in full swing looting not only Crimea, but also the entire occupied south of Ukraine. And Belgorod stands for that. Who said in February 2022 that Ukrainians are the ones shooting themselves in Kharkiv!
It is also interesting to compare Ingushetia and Karelia. The population is the same, but Karelia's losses are 5.6 times higher. At the same time, Karelia, which had close contacts with Finland, not only suffered a painful blow due to the sanctions, but also turned out to be a remote region with a blocked border... due to the migrants they carefully transfer there and the Kremlin's pressure on the EU. As a bonus, Karelia now borders a NATO member country where major military exercises are held. Great, isn't it?
Another interesting pair is Pskov and Saint Petersburg. The number of men in St. Petersburg is 10 times higher than in Pskov. However, recognized losses are only 1.5 times higher. The secret was revealed by one of the Pskov officials, who said that it does not make sense for the region to establish some kind of payment for mercenaries at the front because they will go to St. Petersburg anyway, because they give many times more money there (over two million rubles in total at the time of signing the contract). .
Even by 2022, Pskov was not successful in monetizing its status on the EU border, and now it is completely turning into a dead end into which a river of coffins flows. Although this region is definitely Europe. And Saint Petersburg got Gazprom's headquarters and can buy mercenaries in droves everywhere, even taking into account the company's deplorable financial results... The numbers show the real picture.

What is the Kremlin's war against Ukraine in the language of numbers?
For starters, Moscow and St. Petersburg against Russia. They plunder the regions, and then with the money seized from the regions, they buy mercenaries there and send them to their deaths.
It is the destruction of the population in the already troubled regions of Russia. For some reason, Putin hates Russians more than anyone.
This also shows the special status of the Caucasus. Compare the losses of Tatarstan, Bashkortostan and Dagestan. The population is comparable, but to get bonuses from the Kremlin, Ufa and Kazan send mercenaries en masse to war. And Dagestan automatically receives these bonuses. Because he can fight back.
The Caucasus shows other regions of the Russian Federation a very clear example: if you want to make money and not die, resist Moscow.
