It is proposed that, together with the modernization of Ukraine's air defense, it provide anti-tank weapons.

On March 21, European countries and the United States signed a joint statement "On the necessity of modernizing Ukraine's air defense."

According to Ruslan Stefanchuk, chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, the Ukrainian parliament's statement on modernizing Ukraine's air defenses was supported by the Czech Republic, Estonia, Poland, France, Georgia, Germany, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Sweden, Britain and the United States.

Chairman Stefanchuk thanked the countries for supporting Ukraine in a difficult time.

According to the press service of the Verkhovna Rada, it is stated that "all these countries will strive for peace with Ukraine." Representatives of different countries of the world demand decisive action to establish peace in Ukraine.

It is further stated that it will support the military and civil defense of Ukraine - ensure the protection of the airspace and stop the movement of enemy forces on the territory of Ukraine. This can be achieved by delivering anti-tank and anti-aircraft weapons.

Also, through the provision of humanitarian aid which will ensure the delivery of food and medicine to Ukrainian cities that have been shelled and bombed, save the wounded and refugees.

The statement said it would protect Ukraine's nuclear facilities, which pose a threat to all neighboring countries. It is important that Russia recognizes its responsibility and respects the Geneva Conventions.

According to Christine Quinn, charge d'affaires of the United States Embassy in Ukraine, Ukraine uses its air defense systems quite efficiently. For this reason, Washington still plans to supply them so that Ukrainians can defend themselves.

In addition, according to White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki, the United States intends to secretly negotiate with Kiev on the delivery of American air defense systems (ADS) to Ukraine. Also, Washington will not release information on the location of such weapons.

Earlier, the adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Vadim Denisenko, stated that sanctions against Russian oligarchs are favorable for Putin, because now the oligarchs will be able to invest exclusively in the economy of the Russian Federation. He added that Putin lives in a bunker and wants to impose his isolated life on the people around him.
