- We are happy that "Alfi Bi" as a socially responsible company with the help of the Foundation "Step by Step", jointly managed to equip this sensory room, and to build the previous inclusive playground in two different primary schools in Kumanovo. We are grateful for this joint cooperation and I believe that with that we send an important message to the public, that positive changes are possible when we are all involved in their realization and thus contributed to creating positive changes and values, not only for children with disabilities, but and for the community as a whole - said Filip Serafimovski, director of "Alfi bi".
Blagica Dimitrovska from the association "Inclusive" who together with the Foundation "Step by Step" and the association "Handimak" implement the project "Be IN, be INClusive, be Included", points out that with the activities of this project, including the sensory room in the primary school " 11 October ”in Kumanovo, significantly contributes to every child to gain access to quality education.
- The project "Be IN, be INClusive, be INCLUDED" stimulates inclusion through direct support of families, training of teaching staff, then scholarships for students with disabilities, so that they are equally included in the regular education system. The project with monthly scholarships supports 471 students,
and in the municipality of Kumanovo alone there are more than 40 scholarship holders. In this way we work directly on the development of inclusion at the local level, and strive to create equal access and opportunities for all children in all schools in our region and in the country. By creating accessible and stimulating learning environments, the schools covered by the project become places with equal opportunities for education for all children - said Dimitrovska.
