Digital business platform "One stop digital" for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises and a working meeting with the Customs Administration of the Republic of Macedonia

The Center for Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises at the Chamber of Commerce promoted the digital platform for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises "ONE STOP DIGITAL", intended for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, which will have quick and easy access to all services of the Chamber in the interest of the business environment via a mobile application.
The "ONE STOP DIGITAL" center is a platform or tool supported and enabled by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The idea arose after noticing the need for companies to consolidate all information easily accessible on a web platform and application on mobile devices in one place. It will be a tool for simple communication and connection, which will provide and exchange information.
Focusing on micro, small and medium-sized enterprises means economic development, sustainability and a source of innovation. Therefore, the Chamber is working to increase support and focuses on how to better and faster bring the necessary information closer to them and include them in participating in all processes.
The event was opened by the President of the Center for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Gabriela Kulebanova, who emphasized that the digital platform for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) was developed with the support of the EBRD and that only member companies will be able to use it by registering, for which they will receive a special password.
In her address to the companies, she emphasized that the role of this group of dominant companies in terms of number and employees in each economy plays a significant role. These are the fastest growing companies, as a form of activity they employ many people, and on the other hand, since they do not have many employees individually, they often face the inability to be physically present at places where business events are held, and even less can they follow what is being done on a daily basis by opening the Chamber's website in the classic way. Therefore, through the mobile application, the Chamber, namely the MSME Center, approaches companies and allows them to have access to various forms of information from business activities in a quick and simple way.
In cooperation with the Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Support Center at the Chamber of Commerce of North Macedonia, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) supported the project to implement a digital platform in which small and medium-sized enterprises will have access to daily information important for their business, growth and development in one place, emphasized Sonja Ingilizova from the EBRD, adding that digitalization is a priority for the EBRD and that this cooperation is fully aligned with their strategy.
Ilija Serafimov, from the company "Serafimov Group" with the financial support of the EBRD, developed this platform. He introduced the companies present to the content and functionality of the platform through a presentation. The second part of the event was a working meeting with the Director of the Customs Administration of the Republic of North Macedonia, Boban Nikolovski, on current topics of interest to business, for which a mini-survey was also conducted for members in the past period to express the problems they face and the needs for improving the flow of goods and services.
