For Putin, Makievka is a cowardly lie

After the successful operation of the Ukrainian army, the Russian army, as usual, began to look for a "scapegoat" on which to place the blame. And Putin will be lied to again, Ivan Preobraženski is sure.

On January 2, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced that "only" 63 newly mobilized Russian soldiers were killed in a rocket attack, which completely destroyed the building of the vocational training school in Makiivka, Donetsk region. A little later, sources in the law enforcement agencies "DPR" transparently hinted that the mobilized people themselves were to blame for their deaths, as they called home en masse from mobile phones.
The Ukrainian side, whose data on the number of dead during this war often turned out to be truer, calls the minimum number of dead 400 people. Who is the Russian Ministry of Defense hoping to fool?

Cannon meat in Makijevka

Information about the death of several hundred Russian mobilized people in Makievka first appeared from the local population. Then the Russian propagandists, who are undeservedly called "warriors", got involved. It was already clear from their first reaction that something really unusual had happened, that's how actively they wrote about Makievka.
Two versions of the event were immediately formed. According to the first, published by the Ukrainian army and some Russian sources, such as Igor Girkin (Strelkov), who regularly criticize the Ministry of Defense, the death toll is in the hundreds. They had no chance to survive. The command not only crammed the mobilized newcomers into a building only a few kilometers away from the current front line, i.e. within full range of Ukrainian artillery, but also stored weapons there.
Then the recruits, namely, removed themselves or, which is also likely, participated in an active New Year's celebration, making hundreds of phone calls home via the mobile network. As a result, a building full of mobilized people became an ideal target.

The second version differs little from the first in general, except that it is clearly false. If you read the propagandists loyal to the Russian Ministry of Defense, it turns out that local cadres from the Russian occupation administration and the mobilized people themselves are to blame for everything. The new arrivals were given the wrong room, and they almost started a fight there themselves, and as a result were covered in grenades.
At the same time, according to the Russian official version, 63 people died. And the generals are not to blame for that, of course. According to Soviet tradition, they are never at fault and almost never bear serious responsibility for any losses.

Lies about Makievka

Who is this lie for? Of course, it has long since become a "support structure" in the Russian army and the state system as a whole, but it still usually has a direct address. Many will say that in the case of the tragedy in Makievka, it is the Russians in the broadest sense of the word. Even some propagandists who traditionally criticize the Ministry of Defense and are close to Yevgeny Prigozhin or other "field commanders" who are disloyal to Chief of General Staff Valery Gerasimov and Minister of Defense Sergei Shoigu this time present quite true information. So everyone who wants to can easily find out the truth about Makievka.
Relatives and friends of the deceased cannot be the target audience either. If someone's husband or brother is killed, then that person will be informed, even if not immediately, at least that their loved one is missing. Only then will they start intimidating and bribing them with money for the "funeral". The governor of Samara region has already admitted that its residents were among the dead. So, everyone whose relatives could have been in Makievka and who cares about them, learns the truth about their fate on the second day.
The supreme commander, the source of this war, remains Vladimir Putin. The story that he is protected from negative information, among other things due to fear of punishment, has already become commonplace. For security reasons, he does not use the Internet - and practically cannot bypass the information blockade organized by his closest circle. It is said that he tried to do this with the help of the so-called "military forces", but most of them immediately after that were "taken for insurance" by the Ministry of Defense and began to write copies.
The lies about Makievka are clearly aimed at this person, who is the least informed about the real events, and who runs a huge country. No one wants to become a "messenger bringing bad news" to a dictator.

Nobody feels sorry for those who died in Makievka?
There is no one to fight for the dead in Makijevka and to seek the truth, except for their relatives. For example, I simply could not sympathize with people who came to kill the inhabitants of a neighboring country with weapons in their hands.
The propagandists have been bought and will write "what they are told". Prigozhin and other critics of the Ministry of Defense should also, in fact, be satisfied. They need not less, but more corpses in order to achieve, for example, the resignation of the leadership of the General Staff.
In fact, Vladimir Putin is also angry with those killed. As in his New Year's address, he only poses against the background of Russian "cannon fodder", but he cares about it exactly as much as is necessary for aggression against Ukraine.
Senselessly killed in a foreign country, and many of them have nothing to bury, these people will not even become heroes in the official "iconostasis" of the Kremlin. They will simply be erased from the official statistics, erased with an eraser, as Putin tried to erase Ukraine - and it turns out that he killed these few hundred people, tens of thousands of others and apparently plans to continue killing on both sides of the front, judging by the information about a possible new wave mobilization in Russia.
