EULEX donates three vehicles and other equipment to the Kosovo Correctional Service

Kosovo Correctional Service has received a donation from the European Union Rule of Law Mission.

"Kosovo Correctional Service in the framework of continuous cooperation enjoyed for several years now with the European Union Rule of Law Mission - EULEX, has received a donation, three Nissan cars, computer, UPS, router, printer, scanner, radio, telephone mobile, GPS, binoculars, flashlights and desks ", it is said in the KCS announcement.

During the ceremony, the Deputy General Director of the KCS, Ali Gashi, thanked EULEX for the assistance and support they are providing to the KCS. He said that this donation, in addition to contributing to the increase of efficiency and facilitation of the work of the KCS, will also contribute to the increase of security in all correctional institutions.

 

The Head of EULEX, Lars-Gunnar Wigemark, emphasized that this mission is located in Kosovo to support the rule of law institutions, part of which is the Kosovo Correctional Service. He expressed confidence that this donation will increase the capacity of the KCS in fulfilling its duties and responsibilities.

 

These devices will be used by detention centers and correctional centers.
