Erlić: Agricultural business incubator capital investment in Brodski Stupnik

The Minister of Regional Development and European Union Funds, Šime Erlić, attended the opening of the Agricultural Business Incubator, he emphasized that it is the largest investment in the municipality of Brodski Stupnik so far, and the project is worth 6,204,071 euros, of which 4,534,548 EU grants.

"This is the best gift for the Municipality Day, the largest capital investment in Brodski Stupnik so far. The entrepreneurial, business and agricultural incubator on an area of 3,800 square meters is a truly valuable space," Erlić said.
Compared to other incubators, he said, this is one of the larger ones that will serve farmers and entrepreneurs in that region.
"On the one hand, as protection in the market competition in the initial years when every entrepreneurial initiative is sensitive, in development, I am primarily referring to start-up initiatives, and on the other hand, this is an excellent space for the development of entrepreneurial ideas, i.e. production," he explained.

The incubator, notes Erlić, offers a number of possibilities. "I would highlight the cold store as a strategic advantage, because in this way farmers will be able to sell their products when the market offers the best price," said Erlić.
This is the best example of investing and encouraging the development of Slavonia through the Program of Support for the Economic Revitalization of Slavonia, Baranja and Srijem, through which 26 million euros have been secured for five Slavonian counties, with the aim of creating additional value through projects that create new jobs and stimulate economic development.
Minister Erlić continued his visit to Brod-Posavina County with visits to the Sibinj Municipality, the Social Center in Slavonski Šamac, the Etno House in Sikirevci, the Cultural and Tourist Center of the Eco-Ethno House in Vrpolje and the market in Garčin.
