The students from the elementary school "Mirce Acev" in Gjorce Petrov learn about air, soil, plants and environmental protection in a completely new cabinet for natural sciences, which is one of 260 cabinets, equipped with funds from the Ministry of Education and Science, but also for completely new programs , which develop an awareness of the importance of life mediums and a love of the natural sciences.

The Minister of Education and Science Mila Carovska, together with the Minister of Environment and Physical Planning Naser Nuredini, the US Ambassador Kate Burns and the Mayor Aleksandar Stojkovski, today visited the primary school "Mirce Acev" in Gjorce Petrov which is one of the schools where investments The teaching conditions in the country have improved, but it is also included in the GLOBE program, which is implemented in partnership with Eco-Awareness and the US Embassy.

Awareness of caring for the environment starts from the upbringing within the family, but caring for the environment should also be taught systematically in education, because it best encourages whole generations of responsibility towards the environment and its protection. In that direction are the new curricula, which in addition to regular classes, also provide extracurricular activities to raise awareness among young people about these important issues, in order to make this planet a better place to live. Of course, we are supported by all projects that raise awareness of crucial issues, including environmental protection.

The school "Mirce Acev" in Gjorce Petrov is one of the 27 primary and secondary schools in the country that received appropriate technical equipment, and teachers had practical training and acquired skills for testing and measuring the quality of atmospheric air, water and soil, through the GLOBE program. , realized with the support of the USA and Eco-consciousness.
