BAM 3.9 Million For Procurement Of Mineral Fertilisers, Irrigation And Spring Systems And Support For The Procurement Of Shading Systems
EU-funded project launches a new Public Call
Under EU-funded projects EU4AGRI, EU4AGRI-Recovery and EU4BusinessRecovery, on Wednesday, 21 September, a Public Call was launched for grants under a support measure to mitigate the negative impact of market disturbances and climate change in primary agricultural production.
The Call aims to tackle negative disruption on the market of raw materials in 2022 for agricultural and food sector in BiH caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine, to help mitigate climate change on the agricultural and food sector in BiH, optimise operating costs, maintain productivity, liquidity and competitiveness of agricultural and food sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and support stabilisation of existing value chains from primary production to processing and product marketing.
This intervention support measure includes financial support for the procurement of mineral fertilisers, irrigation and sprinkling systems, including procurement of shading systems.
Who can apply under this Public Call?
The Call is open for micro, small and medium enterprises, crafts/entrepreneurs and cooperatives with an established network of subcontractors/individual agricultural producers (hereinafter subcontractors) engaged in production and/or processing and/or purchase and/or storage and/or marketing of fresh agricultural and ready-made food products.
Under this Public Call, BAM 3.9 million is available, and grant funds per application can range from BAM 50,000 to maximum BAM 300,000. The amount of support per subcontractor can range from BAM 1,500 to BAM 15,000. Mandatory co-financing of the applicant is in the amount of 25 % of the total value of eligible project costs.
The Call is open for applications from 3 October 2022, and the deadline is 12 October 2022, by 17:00.
Applications are submitted through e-application system only, at https://javnipoziv.undp.ba/ provided by the EU4AGRI project. Applications submitted in any other format (e-mail, mail, fax, etc.) are not eligible and will not be considered.
The Public Call can be accessed by all interested stakeholders through the official website of the project, eu4agri.ba.
The first online INFO session will be held on 26 September at 10:00, via EU4AGRI Facebook page EU4AGRI.
Additionally, in the coming period, a series of info sessions will be organised in eight (8) cities across Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bihać, Brčko, Sarajevo, Banja Luka, Tuzla, Mostar, Bugojno and Trebinje, and information about the exact date and venue will be published on our website.

As part of EU4AGRI, the EU provides support to boost competitiveness of agriculture and rural development in BiH. Through EU4AGRI-Recovery, the EU provides support to Bosnia and Herzegovina in mitigating the economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on agri-food companies and rural tourism operators, and ensuring the continuity of their business, while through EU4BusinessRecovery it tackles the impacts of the pandemic on agricultural and tourism companies, micro, small and medium enterprises. The European Union allocated 28 million EUR for all three projects.
