“Superschools”, the EU-funded program connects students and schools in the Western Balkans

“Superschools” promote exchanges between schools in the Western Balkans region, aiming to support the building of peace, reconciliation, and intercultural dialogue between schools, students, and their communities.
The “Superschools” program funded by the European Union is strengthening regional cooperation by connecting students and schools across the Western Balkans.
The European Union Delegation in Tirana announced that through exchange projects, intercultural dialogue, and modern learning spaces, young people are building friendships, exchanging ideas, and shaping a more inclusive future.
“Superschools” promotes exchanges between schools in the Western Balkans region, with the aim of supporting peacebuilding, reconciliation, and intercultural dialogue between schools, students, and their communities.
This program helps schools and educational institutions offer better opportunities for youth by creating modern and innovative learning spaces.
Furthermore, the program strengthens ties between youth in the Balkans and promotes cultural exchange among them as well as encouraging cooperation between schools, governments, and communities to build a more inclusive education system.
This program brings stronger cooperation among the youth of the Western Balkans, new teaching methods and technologies, and innovation in education, fostering mutual respect and intercultural dialogue among young people in different regions.
Beneficiaries are 43 schools, 88 teachers, and over 300 students.
The EU Delegation in Tirana invited young people to become part of this program to exchange experiences and create collaborations with their peers in the region.
The European Union in support of education in Albania has funded several projects, besides “Superschools,” such as “EU for Schools” from which around 58 schools have been reconstructed under modern conditions, along with programs that support startups and innovation
