Tripunovski: Contracts from the IPARD III program for the period 2021-2027 have been awarded
The Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of North Macedonia Cvetan Tripunovski together with the Director of the Agency Ilija Stoilev awarded contracts from the IPARD III program for 2021-2027 in the premises of the Agency for Financial Support and Rural Development.
The contracts refer to measure 1 - Investments in fixed assets of agricultural farms and measure 7 - Diversification of farms and business development.
The financial support consists of 75 percent of funds from the EU budget and 25 percent of funds from the budget of North Macedonia.
The total financial support within the IPARD III program from measure 1 amounts to 18,893,333 euros, or 1,171,764,533 denars, while for measure 7 it amounts to 11,400,000 euros, or 707,028,000 denars.
30 contracts were signed out of a total of 76 from measure 1, for which the total acceptable costs per contract amount to 214,737,900.00 denars, i.e. 3,494,514 euros, while the co-financed amount is 141,279,000.00 denars. From measure 7, six contracts were signed, for which the total acceptable costs per contract amount to MKD 90,379,675.00, while the co-financed amount is MKD 54,488,543.00, i.e. EUR 886,713.00.
The government and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management believe in the potential of Macedonian agriculture, and thus of farmers. Commitments are continuously made for the even development of agriculture in all parts of the country.
The minister wished the signatories of the contracts a successful implementation of investments and continued flawless business, fruitful cooperation with the agency and the ministry, and emphasized that they encourage other farmers to join the financial support programs.
