The City of Rijeka for 15 projects from EU funds, non-refundable HRK 29.33 million

Rijeka, 22 October 2021 (GIA) - As part of the Public Call for co-financing the implementation of EU projects at the regional and local level for 2020, the Minister of Regional Development and European Union Funds Nataša Tramišak will sign 15 contracts for co-financing the implementation of EU projects of HRK 29.33 million in grants to the City of Rijeka.

Minister Tramišak, pointed out that the allocated funds for projects were financed by the European Union, while the rest should be financed by regional and local self-government units, in this case the amount is co-financed by the Ministry of Regional Development and European Union funds.

“I believe that with these funds we will significantly support the City of Rijeka and the Rijeka Development Agency Porin d.o.o. in order to finance European projects faster, better and more successfully ", concluded Minister Tramišak.

These are funds from the state budget, ie the allocation of 15 contracts worth HRK 29.33 million to the City of Rijeka for the implementation of various EU projects, such as energy renovations of primary schools and the Museum of the City of Rijeka, projects of cultural significance and business incubators in the City of Rijeka are completed in the current year or will be completed in the next two years.

In the City of Rijeka are co-financed the following projects:

1. ForHeritage in the amount of HRK 49,484.05,

2. Energy renovation of the Pehlin Elementary School building at Pehlin 34, in the amount of HRK 2,198,536.97,

3. Energy renovation of the Eugen Kumičić Elementary School at Franje Čandeka 40, in the amount of HRK 2,252,382.94

4. Energy renovation of the facility of the Vidrica preschool education subcenter at the address Finderleove stube 1, in the amount of HRK 371,973.13

5. Energy renovation of the building of the Museum of the City of Rijeka at the address Trg Riccarda Zanelle 1/1, in the amount of HRK 625,789.15

6. Energy renovation of the building of the Belveder Preschool Education Subcenter at the address Uspon Irene Tomee 6, in the amount of HRK 250,000.00

7. Energy renovation of the elementary school Gornja Vežica at the address Gornja Vežica 31, in the amount of HRK 2,137,601.30

11. Implementation of the Program of educational and informative activities on sustainable waste management, in the amount of HRK 216,825.75

13. Reconstruction and conversion of the existing Hall 14 into a Technological-Educational Entrepreneurship Incubator “Torpedo Production Park”, in the amount of HRK 276,010.30
