Slovenia donates 42,000 doses of Moderna COVID-19 vaccine to Montenegro
The Republic of Slovenia donated 42 thousand doses of Moderna COVID-19 vaccine to Montenegro, thus confirming that it is a good friend of our country and that as a good neighbour it is always ready to help, especially in such challenging times of coronavirus pandemic, said State Secretary in the Ministry of Health Veljo Čadjenović at the handover ceremony. The donation is worth over a million euros.
Once again, it has been shown that there is a desire between our countries, good neighbours, to help each other in these difficult times, especially when it comes to the coronavirus pandemic, Čađenović said and expressed gratitude for Slovenia's help, adding that we will strive to make relations between the two countries even better.
Ambassador of Slovenia to Montenegro Gregor Presker said that this donation additionally shows Slovenia's solidarity in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
This proves how good the relations between our two countries are, that we are close and that is why we want Slovenia to be more present and provide assistance and support to Montenegro in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, said Presker.
Ambassador Presker thanked and commended all health workers in Montenegro, who are doing an excellent job, treating COVID-19 patients and doing everything to prevent the spread of the disease.
