Project worth 1.8 million euros in the area of Travnik, Jajce and Bihać
An initial meeting was held in Travnik, at which the start of the implementation of a significant project was announced, which will be implemented by the Italian organization Comitato Internazionale per lo Sviluppo dei Popoli (CISP) in cooperation with the Municipality of Travnik.
The project, with a total value of 1.8 million euros, is financed by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS), and will be implemented over the next three years in the areas of Travnik, Jajce and Bihać.
As highlighted by the Municipality of Travnik, one of the key objectives of the project is to improve the tourist offer of Mount Vlašić, as well as the waterfalls of Jasenica, Kozica and Ugrića by improving the infrastructure of accessibility to these natural beauties.
The project plans to create a unique tourist and cultural map called “Via delle Cascate”, which will promote the cultural, natural and historical values of this area.
In addition, the project will focus on strengthening economic capacities with the aim of creating new jobs and sustainable development of the local community.
