Nineteen Montenegrin micro and small enterprises supported through the EmBRACE project

A total of 19 Montenegrin micro and small enterprises received support for the implementation of cross-border projects in cooperation with partner enterprises from Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina as part of the first call of the EmBRACE - Small Projects Fund (SPF) project.
This was decided at the session of the evaluation commission in Zagreb, where a total of 24 projects were supported.
These are small-scale projects, for the implementation of which grants from the European Union were allocated in the amount of a maximum of 200,000 euros per project. The EmBRACE project is implemented within the trilateral cooperation program Interreg VI-A IPA Croatia - Bosnia and Herzegovina - Montenegro 2021-2027.
In the First Call, which was open from June 18 to September 17, 2024, companies from three countries had 3 million euros at their disposal. However, due to the large number of quality applications, the Croatian Agency for Small Business, Innovation and Investments (HAMAG BICRO), which implements this project, decided to increase the budget for the First Call to 4.1 million euros, in order to allocate support as much as possible. to a larger number of smaller-scale projects.
Of the 62 applications received, 24 smaller-scale projects were approved for financing, with a total budget of 4,811,916.77 euros, of which 4,090,129.24 euros represent EU grants. Montenegrin micro and small enterprises participate in 19 out of 24 approved projects.
The list of all approved small-scale projects within the First Call for Project Proposals can be downloaded : https://hamagbicro.hr/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/EmBRACE_1-Call_Approved.pdf
