In Russia, the military does not want to go and die in Ukraine, so they recruit prisoners

Members of the Russian mercenary group Wagner were hired to recruit prisoners in Russia, and the prisoners were promised amnesty if they survived. And payment of 200,000 rubles in six months.
Information about these events was published by the Russian media project "Important Histories".
Namely, the relatives of convicts who are serving their sentences in prisons VC-7 "Jablunivka" and VC-6 "Obukhovo" told this media project that for six months of service, "volunteer" prisoners were promised 200,000 rubles and amnesty if he returned alive.
"The inspectors, as they are called, came to Jablunivka one Friday evening. They spoke in front of the prisoners and called on them to "guard the homeland". Then, late at night, they gathered the foremen [prisoners who help the prison staff in managing the wards], they were interviewed there, after which the foremen started to "work" in the wards. The elders said that the prisoners were forced to go to Donbas," said a relative of one of the convicts.
A relative of the interviewee of the publication was told: “It is very difficult to detect the Nazis there in Ukraine, they are very well prepared. You'll be in the vanguard, you'll help identify the Nazis, so they won't all come back."
At first they said that about 20 percent of those who go to Ukraine will return, then - that almost no one will return. Those who survive were promised a reward of 200,000 rubles and amnesty. And for those who die, it was promised that five million rubles will be paid to the family.
However, that offer will not be recorded anywhere on paper, and all information is not transmitted directly, but through the foreman, said the convict's relative.
According to him, the foremen directly tell the convicts that members of the private military group Wagner are recruiting people.
This prisoner assured his relatives that he would not go to fight in Donbas.
Representatives of the media project also spoke with the relatives of another prisoner from Jablonivka, who agreed to go to Donbas.
"The second day after the news of the meeting, he said he had signed the contract and there was no going back. But the next day he said that the contracts would be concluded upon arrival at the field. According to him, they are going to fight, not to rebuild. Why did they agree? He was bribed with the promise that he would return home in six months and that his criminal record would be removed. Besides, when six months pass and someone wants to continue his service, this company will provide him with a job," said the relative.
According to the publication's sources, "Jablunivka" became the first prison in St. Petersburg where the Wagnerites organized agitation.
"In the following days, those recruiters from the Wagner Group were supposed to be in Fornosovo (VK-4) and then in Obuhovo," the source said.
This information was confirmed by the interlocutor of "Važna štojije" among the relatives of prisoners of VK-6 "Obukhovo".
"Some agitators came to them and offered them to go to Donbas. My understanding is that the contract is oral. They say they are sending without tokens and passports," the source said.
According to the "Important History" project, relatives of prisoners of VK-7 "Jablunivka" tried to come to a meeting with the head of the prison, Colonel of the Internal Service Alexander Ruljova. On the day of the scheduled official visit, the chief refused to meet with the people. When they did manage to reach him, when asked about the recruitment of prisoners to go to the Russian battlefield, Ruljov replied that it was "the first time he heard" about the recruitment and departure of prisoners to the battlefield in Russia.
