The maintenance / remediation of the embankment on the right bank of the Sava River is completed after the damage caused by the earthquake on March 22, 2020 in Zagreb for which the realization of the European Union solidarity fund is allocated.

During the earthquake on March 22, 2020, there was damage to the embankment, coasts and feathers on the right bank of the Sava at the location of the lower Bukavje on the RKM 669 + 186 - RKM 669 + 697 downstream and RKM 669 + 697 - RKM 670 + 793 upstream . Due to the hazards of health and property of people due to the occurrence of tensile cracks in the right of the Right Savior embankment and after the geomechanical tests and geodetic shooting of Croatian water, the central defense of the flood of the sector C brings a decision on the introduction of exceptional flood defense measures for the share of C.13.2. and urgently approach activities to remedy damage to the endangered section.

The remediation was carried out in the period from 22. 3. 2020 to 31st 10th, 2021, and HRK 33.3 million was spent. For October 2021, a contract for granting financial resources was signed for operations financed from the European Union Solidarity Fund (reference number: FSEU.2021.Mangor) In the framework of operations, the prevention of preventive infrastructure - the project maintenance / remediation of the embankment on the right The coast of the Sava River - Donje Bukevje. In accordance with the Agreement, the Grants of the European Union Solidarity Fund is assigned to 100% of the project value.
