Entrepreneurship incubator launched in Slavonski Brod with EU funds - young companies are provided with space and professional support
The final conference of the European project "Innovation Incubator InnoBROD" was held in Ružić Gallery in Slavonski Brod. It is a project worth HRK 16,315,238.55, whereby the City of Slavonski Brod was allocated a grant of HRK 13,696,350.51 from European funds for the implementation of the project.
The goal of this project was to create a stimulating environment for the development of innovative entrepreneurship in Slavonski Brod by developing a high-quality entrepreneurial - business and innovation infrastructure. How significant and valuable this project is is evidenced by the fact that all rooms in the Business Incubator were filled in a very short time. While addressing the participants of the final conference, Deputy Mayor Marina Martić Puača emphasized the following:
"In addition to business premises, developing companies have support in terms of professional knowledge, business management, and I believe that this is a great help for every young entrepreneur. With this important project, we have secured the technical and spatial prerequisites for the development of entrepreneurship in Slavonski Brod, and we hope that soon, in a new perspective, we will be able to secure funds from European funds for the construction of an entrepreneurial accelerator."
The innovation incubator InnoBROD includes a business building with a net area of 1,823.16 m2, which includes 507.35 m2 of office space, including coworking space, 743 m2 of production and service space, a conference hall of 126.16 m2, a multimedia hall of 67.32 m2 and other areas of common use with an area of 373.67 m2. Also, the project includes the procurement of IT equipment and furniture, the establishment and organization of incubator work, and the development of specialized business support services.
