Embassy Donates Additional Equipment to the Center for Training in the Judiciary and State Prosecution
The Embassy, through the Rule of Law Program of the State Department’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, donated a video-conferencing system valued at approximately $38,000 to the Center for Training in the Judiciary and State Prosecution (CTJP) on February 10. This video-conferencing system allows for the simultaneous recording and live broadcasting of trainings and lecturers’ presentations. The system will be used for online lectures and ensures that CTJP trainings are available to all interested judges and prosecutors. This recent video-conferencing system donation comes in addition to equipment donations last year to the CTJP worth $106,000. The donation of an IT system, which also functions as an e-learning platform, enables CTJP’s users and employees to more efficiently organize trainings, monitor budgets, and generate EU required reports, among other capabilities.
