Cooperation!! Another Agreement signed!
Today, the Institute for Education signed an agreement on cooperation with the international organization "German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ)" - Project "Integral waste management and prevention of marine litter in the Western Balkans - MLP II". The agreement was signed by Irena Pavlović, acting director of the Institute. for education and Philipp Steinheim, program manager.The signing was also attended by Jelena Peruničić, regional coordinator (GIZ) and Nevena Čabrilo, head of the Department for International Cooperation at the Institute for Education.
The subject of this Agreement is the establishment of cooperation between the signatories, and it includes the forms and processes of cooperation in the field of education for sustainable development with a special focus on improving students' competencies in the field of circular economy. The agreement refers to Eco-schools implementing the E-SPACE project (Eco-Schools Project Action for Circular Economy) in Montenegro.
The aim of the cooperation is to improve the competences of teachers and students in the domain of integrating the learning outcomes of the cross-curricular topic Green economy with a focus on the circular economy, to distribute the PETko recycler and 3D printer (10 sets) for the following schools: Middle School of Economics "Mirko Vešović", Podgorica, Primary School " Radoje Čizmović", Nikšić, Elementary school "Pavle Rovinski", Podgorica, Gymnasium "Petar I Petrović Njegoš", Danilovgrad, Elementary school "Kekec", Sutomore, Elementary school "Srbija", Bar, Gymnasium, Cetinje, Elementary school "Vuk Karadzić" ”, Podgorica, Elementary school "Aleksa Đilas Bećo", Mojkovac, Elementary school "Mirko Srzentić", Petrovac, as well as to implement trainings for teachers and students for the use of recyclers and 3D printers for the purpose of recycling and reuse of plastic and for pollution of the sea with plastic. The signatories of the Agreement undertake to respect the rules and organize and implement joint activities in accordance with their professional capacities, as well as to publish all information of interest to the general public, regarding joint activities, on the website of the Institute for Education, social networks and media.
The MLP project aims to reduce the pollution of the Adriatic Sea with plastic waste. In cooperation with partner institutions, GIZ implements the project on behalf of the German government.
