Contract worth HRK 327.3 million signed as part of the Split-Solin EU project
A contract was signed as part of the Project to improve the water and communal infrastructure of the Split - Solin agglomeration, worth HRK 327.3 million without VAT, or HRK 409.1 million with VAT, of which almost HRK 224.9 million are EU grants.
The signing ceremony was attended by Minister of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development Davor Filipović, Prefect of Split-Dalmatia County Blaženko Boban, Mayor of the City of Solina Dalibor Ninčević, General Director of Hrvatske vode Zoran Đuroković and Director of Vodovod i Kanalizija d.o.o. Split Tomislav Šuta.
The contract refers to the reconstruction and upgrading of the drainage and water supply systems of the City of Solina and the Municipality of Podstrana, Klis and Dugopolje.
Sewage pipelines with a length of 43,560 meters, water supply pipelines with a length of 30,555 meters, pressure sewerage pipelines with a length of 5,769 meters and 18 pumping stations for sewage and nine pumping stations for water supply will be installed. Also, 1,309 sewage connections and 244 water supply connections will be made, as well as 20,118 meters of cable sewerage and 2,134 meters of rehabilitation of the sewage network.
The project to improve the water and communal infrastructure of the Split-Solin agglomeration has a total value of HRK 1.79 billion, and of the total eligible costs of HRK 1.4 billion, 68.71% in the amount of HRK 975.3 million will be financed by grants from the European Union from the Cohesion Fund through the Operational Program Competitiveness and Cohesion 2014-2020. The remaining HRK 372.3 million or 31.29% will be co-financed with national funds.
The project envisages the construction and reconstruction of 65 km of water supply and 123.75 km of wastewater drainage pipelines, as well as the upgrading of Stupa's wastewater treatment plant.
Within the Operational Program Competitiveness and Cohesion 2014. – 2020 (OPKK) in the area of Split-Dalmatia County, 6 water utility projects are implemented (Split-Solin, Kaštela-Trogir, Sinj, Trilj-Otok-Dicmo, Jelsa-Vrboska-Stari Grad and Imotski) with a total value of HRK 4.6 billion (with VAT) of which EU co-financing amounts to over HRK 2.5 billion.
In addition, in the area of Split-Dalmatia County, within the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan 2021-2026. (NPOO) for financing the implementation of investment projects of the public water supply and public drainage system, 6 contracts were concluded on the allocation of grants with a total value of HRK 163 million including VAT, of which HRK 101.4 million are EU grants.
The planned funds are intended to finance the construction and reconstruction of 42 km of water supply network and 11.24 km of drainage system in the area of the city of Makarska, Sinj (the settlement of Kamensko, the hamlets of Krolo, Tabak, Matići and Žaperi), Kaštela, Solin and Trogir
(Čiovo), in the area municipalities of Dugopolje, Seget and on the islands of Brač (in Supetar, Pučišći and Murvica), Hvar (Poljica and Sućuraj) and Vis (in Komiža).
