By leap MNE - Regional CSO Networking Conference
As they stated, “BY LEAP - Balkans Youth: Linking Education, Abilities and Partnership Potential in Regional Employment Practice” is the name of the project that deals with connecting education, skills and potential partnerships in regional employment practice.
In the period from 8 to 10 September 2021, the Student Business Center of the University of Donja Gorica will organize a Regional CSO Networking Conference in Podgorica, within the BY LEAP project - funded and supported by the European Union, which will bring together as many as 120 representatives of civil society organizations from six countries, namely: Turkey, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Northern Macedonia, Serbia and Montenegro, the University of Donja Gorica announced.
As they stated, “BY LEAP - Balkans Youth: Linking Education, Abilities and Partnership Potential in Regional Employment Practice” is the name of the project that deals with connecting education, skills and potential partnerships in regional employment practice.
The project is implemented in the Western Balkans and Europe (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Northern Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey), supported by the European Union through a program of support to civil society and the media, with the aim of supporting regional thematic networks of civil society organizations companies in creating innovative solutions for the promotion of youth employment and the creation of new entrepreneurial initiatives ", it is stated in the announcement.
At the opening of the conference, the participants were addressed by Jevrosima Pejović (Ministry of Economic Development), Mladen Perazić (Chamber of Commerce), Snadra Tinaj (University of Donja Gorica), Darko Radičanin (Youth Achievements of Serbia - BYLEAP project coordinator), and in addition the participants will have opportunity to participate and exchange views in panel discussions.
"The Regional CSO Conference is a continuation of a series of previously implemented activities within the project in all partner countries, and the aim of the conference is to network civil society representatives who are engaged in entrepreneurship and youth employment activities in BY LEAP project partner countries," the statement said.
Also, they add, the conference is expected to result in the creation of a quality network and exchange of knowledge, practices and experiences of civil society representatives in the Western Balkans and Turkey, which as a final output should further result in new regional initiatives for entrepreneurship development and youth support educational and scientific institutions and economics.
"The conference will be attended by representatives of the civil sector who deal with entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial learning and education, support for young people and their entrepreneurial ideas. Within the conference, the participants will follow the interactive lectures of eminent regional experts as well as panel discussions, presentations of current initiatives and other teambuilding activities ", it is said in the announcement.
They note that the three-day conference will be held at the University of Donja Gorica and at the Hotel Voco, in compliance with all epidemiological measures and recommendations of the Institute of Public Health of Montenegro.
