Ambassador Reinke Visits Children’s Home in Bijela

Ambassador Reinke visited the Children’s Home “Mladost” in Bijela on May 14, 2022 to celebrate the conclusion of a U.S. Embassy-funded project that brought together the residents of the home and prominent Montenegrin artists and musicians through a series of interactive cultural activities.  Thanks to the vision and passion of the NGO Ars-Industria project team and the support of Mladost’s leadership, the children and teenagers who participated in the project were encouraged to express themselves through art, drawing on the works of U.S. and other world famous artists.  The Ambassador also visited one of the seven greenhouses, located in the home’s yard, built throughout the country as part of the #NovaMoba food security project.  With the support of the Embassy and local communities, the NGO Paradigma also constructed greenhouses in Bar, Podgorica, Mojkovac, Berane, Pljevlja, and Niksic, which help to feed those in need.
