Allocated EUR 74,088.97 for co-financing six projects and programs of NGOs supported by EU funds

Pursuant to the Law on Non-Governmental Organizations ("Official Gazette of Montenegro" No. 39/11 and 37/17) and the Decree on the Procedure and Manner of Co-financing Projects and Programs of Non-Governmental Organizations Supported from European Union Funds ("Official Gazette of Montenegro" No. 64/18) , and in connection with the Public tender for the allocation of funds for co-financing projects and programs of non-governmental organizations supported from European Union funds for 2022, no. 01-056 / 22-169 of 20 January 2022, the Ministry of Public Administration, Digital Society and Media passed a Decision on the allocation of funds for co-financing projects and programs of non-governmental organizations supported by European Union funds for 2022 in the amount of 74,088.97 EUR to co-finance six projects:

1. “Preserve Nature Through E-mobility Education” in the amount of EUR 6,000.00. The project is implemented by the non-governmental organization Foundation for the Promotion of Science PRONA.

2. “Rise of a woman in culture in the Western Balkans” in the amount of EUR 4,081.00. The project is implemented by the NGO SPES.

3. “WB SEA: Western Balkans Youth Social Economy Alliance” in the amount of EUR 16,252.02. The project is implemented by the non-governmental organization Association for Democratic Prosperity - Wall (ADP - Wall).

4. “Work4Youth” in the amount of EUR 21,036.49. The project is implemented by the non-governmental organization Association for Democratic Prosperity - Wall (ADP - Wall).

5. “COOPeR (Enhancing competitiveness of olive production in the program area through cross border cooperation)” in the amount of EUR 14,338.01. The project is implemented by the non-governmental organization Olive Society "Boka" - Boka Kotorska.

6. “RE: Play - Redesigning playscapes with children in the Western Balkans” in the amount of EUR 12,381.45. The project is being implemented by the NGO Gradionica.

According to the ongoing public tender for the allocation of funds for co-financing projects and programs of non-governmental organizations supported from European Union funds for 2022, requests for co-financing can be submitted to the Ministry as of December 1, 2022.

The determined amount of funds for co-financing projects and programs of non-governmental organizations in 2022 is 1,010,000.00 EUR. Funds for co-financing projects and programs of non-governmental organizations contracted on the basis of competitions and programs supported by the European Union are provided in the amount of 100% of the contractual mandatory participation of non-governmental organizations in these projects and programs, or 100% of funds requested in co-financing.
