"Xhezmi Delli" school is inaugurated in Tirana, Manastirliu: Contemporary environment for 300 students and teachers
The Minister of Education and Sports, Ogerta Manastirliu, and the EU Ambassador in Tirana, Silvio Gonzato, today inaugurated the 9-year-old school "Xhezmi Delli", another school with modern facilities that is added to the capital.
In her speech, the Manastirliu emphasized the importance of investing in education in improving the quality of teaching and developing human resources.
The building, reconstructed with the support of the European Union as part of the "EU4Schools" program and implemented by UNDP, has been transformed into a contemporary and comprehensive space with 10 new classrooms, two advanced laboratories for IT and Chemistry/Physics, a renovated gym, an outdoor sports field, a multifunctional hall and a nursing and psychological hall, providing modern conditions for all students, including those with special needs.
This investment is part of the program of the Ministry of Education and Sports, the local government and international partners to reconstruct and modernize 100 schools and sports grounds within this year.
Educational infrastructure is one of the priorities of the Ministry of Education, which aims to increase the quality of teaching, investing in human resources through professional training for teachers and providing advanced teaching tools for students.
