Ukraine: EU adopts temporary trade liberalisation with Ukraine

The Council of the European Union today adopted a regulation allowing for temporary trade liberalisation and other trade concessions with regard to certain Ukrainian products. This means that for one year there will be no import duties on all Ukrainian exports to the European Union.

Through these measures, the EU will be able to significantly support the economy of Ukraine, which has been hit hard by Russian aggression.

This suspension covers, inter alia, certain industrial products, fruits, vegetables and other agricultural products, including processed products, collection of anti-dumping duties on imports originating in Ukraine, and  application of general import regulations to imports originating in Ukraine.
