The US Embassy donates investigative equipment against terrorism and other threats to the Albanian police
The United States Embassy in Tirana has donated $ 100,000 worth of investigative equipment to the State Police, much of it funded by the Diplomatic Security and Assistance Service for Anti-Terrorism Training.
The news was announced by the diplomatic institution itself through an announcement on the official website. According to the embassy, these devices will assist Albanian institutions in the fight against terrorism, cybercrime and other threats.
It was Karen Riley, the head of the Regional Security Office at the US Embassy, and Ardi Veliu, the director general of the State Police, who signed the memoranda for the donated equipment.
