The US Embassy donates investigative equipment against terrorism and other threats to the Albanian police

The United States Embassy in Tirana has donated $ 100,000 worth of investigative equipment to the State Police, much of it funded by the Diplomatic Security and Assistance Service for Anti-Terrorism Training.

The news was announced by the diplomatic institution itself through an announcement on the official website. According to the embassy, ​​these devices will assist Albanian institutions in the fight against terrorism, cybercrime and other threats.

It was Karen Riley, the head of the Regional Security Office at the US Embassy, ​​and Ardi Veliu, the director general of the State Police, who signed the memoranda for the donated equipment.
