The only tool parents need to ensure their child has a "Good start for his entire life". Bebbo is a pocket set of tools which supports parents in taking care of their child's development since their birth until it's time for school.

All parents and guardians, especially in the first years, need support to know that they are not alone in the parenting tasks, to cope with parental stress and the challenges of raising a child, to resolve their concerns and provide the child with the best start in life.

Every family can go through crisis periods. What makes a difference in the quality of life of a family is the availability of support and reliable sources of advice.

The "Bebbo" application is the first comprehensive, interactive guide for parents through parenting and growing up from birth to the first day of school, the content of which you can personalize according to your child's age. Whether you are a mom or a dad, you can monitor the development of one or more children every day, even when you do not have access to the Internet.

All data entered into the application in order to personalize the content are stored exclusively on the user's personal device.

The application is developed by UNICEF Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia and is adapted in for Albania by UNICEF in Albania and the Public Health Institute.

The app is FREE to download and use for both Android and IOS users in Albanian and English and is supported by EU (DGNear), European Union Delegation to Albania.

Relying on early development research, the "Bebbo" app offers a full range of tips and useful features that can help you make timely decisions about how best to support your child's development.

Every day, with the "Bebbo" app, you can monitor your child's progress, consult expert advice to encourage the growth and development of your baby and young child, breastfeeding, nutrition, immunization, play, health and well-being. You can follow the calendar of vaccinations and preventive pediatric and other examinations and activate reminders.

The application also offers suggestions for joint games that will help your child reach the expected developmental milestones for a certain age and grow up as a healthy and happy child. It reminds you to take care of yourself and your well-being.

Every day, the app suggests a daily game together or offers an article from a rich library of tips covering a wide range of topics for all ages of children before going to school, such as breastfeeding, introducing a non-dairy diet or early learning through play. All tips can be easily saved as favorites and shared with other parents, friends or professionals,

Games for parents and children:

"Bebbo" app offers you plenty of ideas on how to enrich the interaction with your baby or small child through games that most stimulate learning and development. In the games section, you can choose games that support the development of motor and socio-emotional skills, speech, communication and cognitive abilities.

Child development:

This tool is easy to use and helps you actively monitor your child's progress and reach the developmental milestones expected for a particular child's age. This will help you identify which games you can incorporate into your daily family routines.

Vaccination:

This feature allows you to easily track and record the vaccines your child is receiving and activate reminders of upcoming vaccines according to the national immunization calendar.

 

Pediatric and other preventive examinations:

The health check-up section allows you to record information about your child's visits to the doctor, as well as to activate reminders for upcoming medical check-ups.

Child growth:

This tool allows you to regularly enter the height and weight of your child to monitor the child's growth on the growth map and get recommendations on how to encourage the progress of the child at a certain age, whether it is a premature baby or a child born at term.
