Switzerland offers 105 million francs for Albania
Switzerland will provide Albania with 105 million francs to improve the business climate and rule of law reforms.
The Foundation is made possible through the Swiss Cooperation Program in Albania for the period 2022-2025.
The program was made public at an event attended by the Minister of Finance and Economy, Delina Ibrahimaj; Swiss Ambassador to Tirana, Adrian Maitre; General Director of the Swiss Agency, Patricia Danzi; The Governor of the Bank of Albania, Gent Sejko, government ministers and representatives of other state institutions
"The support of international partners is important to consolidate a credible macroeconomic framework, an improved business environment, an innovation-friendly, competitive and productive environment, and one that encourages youth employment. "All these elements will serve for the economy to continue to grow in a comprehensive and sustainable way, thanks to the public-private cooperation", said Ibrahimaj.
During the period 2022-2025, Albania and Switzerland will work to orient the reforms and achieve results in four areas: democratic governance; sustainable economic development and employment; infrastructure services and climate change; and health.
