Croatia: Disbursement of €835.6 million under the NextGenerationEU instrument

The Commission has disbursed €835.6 million to Croatia, the sixth disbursement for the country under the Recovery and Resilience Facility. The disbursement covers 26 milestones and targets.

The reforms and investments linked to this disbursement will drive positive changes for Croatian citizens and businesses, in particular in the areas of healthcare, the fight against corruption, geothermal energy and hydrogen exploration, water management, resilience to natural disasters, island electricity networks and energy security.

The total disbursements to Croatia under the Recovery and Resilience Facility now amount to €5.3 billion, around 53% of the total allocation, including the initial allocations made after the adoption of the plan. The Croatian Recovery and Resilience Plan is financed by grants and loans totalling €10 billion.
