Putin will not forgive the generals. What is happening in the bunker of the Russian Führer?

In anticipation of the battle for Donbass, the Kremlin is still fighting

Now, Vladimir Putin's entourage is doing roughly the same thing, as shown in the famous "17 Moments of Spring" series about Russian spy Stirlitz, who finds himself in Berlin at the very end of World War II. The situation is typical. It happened in Hitler's bunker, and in Stalin's. Military defeat always leads to a deterioration of relations between the Führer and the army (General Staff). Moscow was defeated in the battle for Kyiv and, of course, all that is happening now in the Kremlin is the search for an answer to the question "Who is to blame?" The Führer, who formulated pointless adventurous tasks, or blamed the army for not fulfilling his brilliant plan.

In fact, it began on March 25, when the Chief of the Main Operations Department of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, General Sergei Rudsky, publicly stated that they were adjusting their plans for the war. And he formulated new plans contrary to Putin's plans. According to Putin, this is the complete occupation of Ukraine, the destruction of the Ukrainian state and denazification. And Rudski said - "and we did not plan to occupy any city, we just want to ensure the security of Donbass, well, maybe expand the territory to the borders of Lugansk and Donetsk regions." These are different conceptions of war, and Putin was forced to agree to withdraw troops from Kiev and Chernihiv. Both the generals and Putin have so far agreed to open another major battle for Donbass, trying to expand the entire territory, and we will see what happens next.

But nowhere has Putin publicly given up on the original goals of the war. He, of course, will never forgive the generals for trying to change the goals of the war. He appointed another commander - General Alexander Dvornikov, whose nicknames are "Aleppo butcher" and "Syrian executioner". He could only fight by shooting from the air at helpless cities that had neither planes nor air defenses. These are his "feats", which he will probably repeat in Ukraine.

But in anticipation of the battle for Donbass, the struggle in the Kremlin continues. We hear about the arrest of 20 generals, the arrest of Colonel General Sergei Beseda and the arrest of Russian war ideologue Vladislav Surkov. Putin is desperately looking for people who would be to blame for his failure.

For now, everyone is waiting for the outcome of this second battle for Donbass. If it ends as badly for Moscow as the battle for Kyiv, and most military experts say they will, because Putin has failed to mobilize any new reserves, the struggle in the Kremlin will enter a great phase. Either Putin will arrest or shoot all the generals, accusing them of treason, or they will strike a preemptive blow.

Attention should be paid to the role of Surkov. I believe that he deliberately encouraged and incited war, knowing Putin's weaknesses and predicting that it would end in failure for him and his empire. After all, Surkov, like all Chechens like Ramzan Kadyrov, hates, of course, Russia and the Russians for everything they have done in the North Caucasus and Chechnya, especially in the past 200 years. He may have seen his mission as a Chechen patriot, to remind Russia as much as possible, to promote this insane concept of “Russian measure” by mocking Russian masters. He will obviously have to answer for this now. He is still under house arrest, but he is waiting to be taken to Lefortov, to be tortured, where Beseda is already.

A few days ago, the Kremlin said it could "hit the decision-making centers in Kiev". And analysts have begun to wonder how far Putin is willing to go to avenge the Moscow cruiser. But where else to take revenge ?! They commit terrible crimes in Ukraine every day. This whole picture opens up in all the cities from which the occupiers left. Enough to continue. Moreover, the appointment of this executioner from Syria, Dvornikov, as the commander of Russian troops in Ukraine reveals the real intention of Moscow. And Russian television calls every day that they are too soft, that they need to destroy the center of decision-making, the leadership of Ukraine, etc. So you Ukrainians are fighting a terrible enemy, a fascist state ready for any crime. But the positive news last week is that the West has decided to significantly help Ukraine by delivering offensive heavy weapons. The West has drawn attention to the fact that in the event of a victory in Ukraine, Putin will not stop, he will go further. That is why it is better to stop it now, when 40 million people are fighting for themselves and for the West on a huge territory. And in two weeks, the most motivated Ukrainian army in the world will have the most modern weapons. Unfortunately, the West is always late with support. If these weapons had existed earlier, the battle for Donbass would have ended with the liberation of the entire Donbass and Crimea.

I believe that the most probable result of this battle is that he will stop there on a new line. As usual, the Russians will take Avdiyevka, and the Ukrainians will take Horlivka. Nothing will change. But time works for Ukraine. They get more and more efficient weapons. Strategically, Putin lost the war, which will lead to a counter-conflict in the bunker, as in the last episode of the famous Stirlitz era.
